Ancient Combat Club ŽVĖRIS brings together history and sports enthusiasts who recreate the warfare, weaponry, and combat traditions of the 5th–14th centuries that once flourished across Europe and in our region.
Founded in Vilnius in 2025, the club attends around 12 festivals each season and has already achieved notable success in tournaments. Its members also regularly visit schools and other educational institutions, bringing history to life for children through interactive presentations.
At the festival, ŽVĖRIS will showcase historical weapons and armor, take part in combat demonstrations, and organize a soft-weapons tournament for visitors. Those who would like to see, hear, and experience even more will be welcome to meet the club members in the festival’s craft yard.
