The winners of Wacken Metal Battle Lithuania 2026, SINAMORT, have also earned the right to perform at the KILKIM ŽAIBU festival! Representatives of melancholic death/doom metal, they proved that their creativity never stands still, constantly bringing new colors into their music and deservedly taking the crown in the competition.
The musical foundation of SINAMORT lies in long, slow, crushing compositions where grief and deep sorrow intertwine with romance and the joy of discovery. However, in their latest work, the band has introduced significant changes - the music has become far more diverse, sophisticated, and dynamic, at times featuring a distinctly modern and contemporary post-metal sound. More experimentation in the vocal parts, expanded genre boundaries, new artistic directions, and a refined visual identity and stage presentation have elevated the band to a higher level.
Without abandoning the traditional death/doom sound, SINAMORT manages to surprise listeners where they least expect it. This year, after releasing their EP Autoluminescence, the Kaunas-based band has become one of the more intriguing acts on the local scene and leaves audiences eagerly anticipating a new full-length studio album.
