LORD WIND

LORD WIND is a project by Polish legend Rob Darken who is loved by few and hated by many. However, some souls genuinely crave the “dark ages” which this man so artfully creates and has already put into six full-length albums. Tainted with a Slavonic, Middle Eastern essence, LORD WIND is full of male choir, which resonates like musical notes, keys that are so simple yet grand, and a general cloaking effect, which bathes one's mind from the inside out. This music is full of stirring, captivating, and sensuous atmosphere that lingers and echoes like the inherent blasphemy, which it is.

Though Darken has created many projects and has been on the stage for many years, he still manages to be original and alter his style little by little. For instance, whereas LORD WIND's previous offerings had been solemn, almost plodding, and certainly steel-cold experiments in ambient folk, "Atlantean Monument" changed the LORD WIND formula somewhat by introducing more varied and "authentic" folk elements. From this point, and especially after his last album "Ales Stenar" LORD WIND shot up right to the peak of power and depth, and KILKIM ŽAIBU audience will be have an excellent chance to feel this incredible atmosphere live!
