    LEITGIRIS

    Living History Club | Lithuania

Leitgiris re-enacts 9th-13th c. Baltic tribes. The club’s main purpose is an authentic representation of how our ancestors looked, their warfare culture, crafts and, of course, combat. Visitors of their camp can see copies of the weapons and gear used by the majority of Baltic tribes.

Most of the items, clothes and gear used by Leitgiris’ members is self-made. The club’s crafting interests include leatherworking, weaving, sewing, fibre dyeing, tablet weaving, glass bead making, and nalbinding, not to forget mead making and other ancient culinary delicacies!
