Mesmerizing… and disturbing. Hark to the eerie howling of the southeastern wind. Smell its putrescent, malignant breath. Watch out – the dead start their frantic dance. Long droning meditation breaks out into ravenous blasting Black Metal. At the end, you enter a narcotic dream, a hypnotic and hallucinatory finale to a strange yet gripping journey.
Such demonic ritual will be performed on Kilkim Žaibu stage by Ukrainian crew KZOHH. We can call them creators of Black Metal Avant-Garde. There tradition is complemented with Ambient keyboards and undefinable electronic sounds floating around like lost phantasms. However, the atmosphere is created not only by music – all works are dedicated to mass pestilences.
The newest album “Trilogy: Burn Out the Remains” tells us about Justinian plague, the first major epidemic of plague in human history (VI-VIII centuries) and the Spanish flu epidemic in 1918-1919, the most massive flu pandemic in human history. Though band develops especially dreadful topics, we recommend getting infected by their music.
