KASCHALOT is a Tallinn-based math-rock band that has been captivating audiences since 2014 with their genre-blurring instrumental sound. Fusing post-rock, progressive, and even pop influences, their dynamic compositions transition from euphoric peaks to serene interludes, all while radiating relentless energy and optimism. Tracks like "Dorian" channel classic power ballads, while "Clockwise Counter Clockwise" surprises with bursts of metal, earning them comparisons to And So I Watch You From Afar and Mutiny on the Bounty.
What began as a solo project evolved into a full band by 2016, debuting with their self-titled EP. They gained critical acclaim with their 2018 album “Whale Songs“ and hit new heights with 2021’s “Zenith“ EP, hailed as one of the year’s best post-rock releases. With global recognition and an ever-growing fanbase, KASCHALOT continues to deliver thrilling, genre-defying music. The band is currently working on a new material, expected to be released in early spring 2025.
