In the Estonian capital Tallinn, the band INTREPID was founded ten years ago by teenagers who had not yet even reached adulthood. However, the young musicians had a very clear vision of their goals and aspirations - top tier death metal! Today, the band can truly be proud of two full-length albums and shared tours with such heavyweights as NILE, MONSTROSITY, and ATHEIST!
Starting out as representatives of old-school, rather primitive death metal, INTREPID have continuously evolved, diversifying their songwriting and expanding the boundaries of musical genres. The new Estonian release Juxtaposition is a multifaceted album born from a fusion of different styles, showcasing the musicians’ talent, diversity of ideas, and the band’s versatility. Significantly improved recording quality and sonic clarity reveal a harsh yet engaging side of the band, balancing melody and brutality, virtuosity and musical groove.
Although the band is often associated with the influence of classic Florida death metal, INTREPID represent a modern, experimental, and powerful dose of death metal that exploded in 2025 and amazed audiences with intense performances at major metal festivals in Poland, Finland, and other countries.
