The guys from ERDVE do not chase trends, but keep their work subtle, polished and increasingly mature. Perhaps that is what makes them one of the
most interesting and expressive bands in Lithuania, whose experiments and talent have not gone unnoticed outside their homeland – both of the band’s full-length albums are marked by the label of Season of Mist publishing giants.
Despite of attempts to see trends and clichés in ERDVE’s work, placing them in one genre or another, the musicians stay away from any frames and definitions. Through a meaty and crushing sound, they explore various social themes, not forgetting the grey nihilistic daily life, concrete and dirt, and a strike of original, inhumanly viscous black/sludge/post-hardcore mix.
