DIRTY SHIRT

DIRTY SHIRT is one of the most respected Romanian metal bands, winner of the second place at the international final of Wacken Metal Battle 2014 and recipient of many Metal awards. The band's unique style derives from mixing the heavy sound of modern metal with the festive ambiance of East-European traditional music, the eclecticism of world music, the electro sound of industrial, the energy of hardcore, and the groove of funk.

Right from the start, in 1995, DIRTY SHIRT emerged as a prolific live act. In 2000 band released first full-length album “Very Dirty”. After a hiatus and a stylistic change, in 2010 the group released its comeback record “Same Shirt, Different Day”. “Freak Show” arrived in 2013 and instantly earnedunanimous praise. The first single “Freak Show” was included in the social game RockStar Rising (Facebook, iPad).In addition, Washburn and Randall decidedto award Dirty Shirt the title of official endorser of their products.

On April 26th 2015, Dirty Shirt released arguably their best record to date, “Dirtylicious”, which simply exploded on both the local and international scene. It is entirely inspired by East European traditional music, and the studio sessions were conducted with “The Transylvanian Folkcore Orchestra”.The unique blend of styles and genres is sure to make an impact, and there is no way you can escape the magic created by “Dirtylicious”!
