The long-time UK death metal masters BENEDICTION are coming to KILKIM ŽAIBU festival for the first time!
Over more than a third of a century, the band has not only maintained an essential part of their classic line-up, but also did not stray from the old-school death metal sound – the band fosters the best aspects of the genre, at the same time maintaining a subtle diversity and relevance, without sinking into a quagmire of monotony.

bands dictated the trends of their country on the global stage. The Birmingham representatives stood out in these ranks with their extremely cold, confidently-paced sound and thunderous vocals. The band has always paid great attention to live performances in some occasions even having to put their fists to work for proper conditions and their beliefs…
Each of their new albums is like a new gust of wind in the encyclopaedia of death metal, but BENEDICTION has always maintained its key features – a low and heavy guitar sound, and a truly evil growl. Their stability on the publishing front is also enviable, with the Brits promoted by the Nuclear Blast giants. In April, the label will present the band’s new work Ravage of Empires.
