The Viking ship from Vilnius sets sail to KILKIM ŽAIBU XXV

The BALTIC VIKINGS living history club, dating back to 2016, is bringing their Viking ship to KILKIM ŽAIBU festival and will introduce the audience to Lithuanian history, focusing attention on the fact that there were not only Scandinavian, but also Baltic Vikings.

The ship will regularly set sail throughout the entire festival. The visitors will be greeted by experienced captains and guides, who will take you back to the 9-13th c., even if for a little while. The guides will talk about the ancient navigation, life on a ship and the adventures of the Baltic tribes abroad. Sing along, strike fire and dad jokes, cast runes, and even test your strength at rowing the ship!

And, if you’ll still feel inspired, take a mystical night voyage under the stars, listening to Lithuanian fables about their secrets.

These adventures will cost you a coin to the crew, but definitely not an arm or a leg, and will be totally worth it!
