Italian multi-instrumentalist LILI REFRAIN catches the ear very fast – her otherworldly sounds transports the listener to somewhere unfamiliar yet meditative. A musician since 2007, LILI has trod her own path, collating a unique and organic palette combining electric guitar, vocals, percussion, synths and loops, she crafts a sonic netherworld, to which we’re all invited. The atmosphere she evokes covers a wide swath of sonic territory that combines minimalist, folk, psychedelic, blues, metal, lyrical opera textures, without using any computer or pre-recorded tracks.
LILI REFRAIN has released 5 albums, and is currently on tour promoting her last record: “MANA”. She landed on the stages of the best European festivals such as Roadburn, Hellfest, Desertfest and many more. “MANA” is a trip towards the unknown, and it’s dedicated to those who in life had to face it.
